From the Royal Mile near the National Museum of Scotland, walk south along George IV Bridge for about 5 minutes. The restaurant is on the left side, accessed via a simple shopfront and then down a short flight of stairs into the cellar space.
On foot from Edinburgh Waverley station
From Edinburgh Waverley station, head west along Princes Street, then turn south onto George IV Bridge. The walk takes about 10–12 minutes on level pavement, with the restaurant on the left side of the bridge, just past the main University of Edinburgh buildings.
By bus from the city centre
Several Lothian Buses serve stops near George IV Bridge, including routes 23, 31, and 32. From the nearest stop, it’s a 2–3 minute walk along the pavement to the restaurant entrance on the left side of the bridge.

From Edinburgh Castle, walk east along the Royal Mile, then turn south onto George IV Bridge. The restaurant is about a 10-minute walk away, on the left side of the bridge, in a cellar space accessed via a modest shopfront.
