If you are driving from the Giant's Causeway, leave the visitor center and head south on the A2 towards Ballycastle. Continue for approximately 8 miles (13 km) until you reach the town of Ballycastle. Once in Ballycastle, follow signs for Cushendall Road (A2). Bonamargy Friary is located at 43 Cushendall Rd, BT54 6QR, which is just a short distance from the center of town. There is free parking available near the friary.

From the Giant's Causeway Visitor Center, you can take a bus to Ballycastle. Look for the bus service operated by Translink, specifically the 172 or 173 bus route, which runs from the Giant's Causeway to Ballycastle. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ballycastle, you can walk to Bonamargy Friary, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head south on Main Street, then take a left onto Cushendall Road. The friary will be on your left.
