Getting There

  • Subway

    Start at Buchanan Street Subway Station in Glasgow city center. Take the subway train towards the southbound line (Muirend or Kinning Park direction). Get off at the next stop, which is Kinning Park Station. From Kinning Park Station, exit the station and walk south along Kinning Park Road until you reach the junction with Pollokshaws Road.

    At the junction with Pollokshaws Road, turn left and walk along Pollokshaws Road for about 15 minutes. You will see Pollok Country Park on your left. The main entrance to the park is at 2060 Pollokshaws Rd, Bellahouston, Glasgow G43 1AT.

  • Bus

    From Buchanan Street, you can also take the bus. Catch a bus from Buchanan Bus Station that is heading towards Pollok. Look for buses with routes that mention 'Pollok' or 'Shawlands'. Get off at the stop nearest to Pollok Country Park, which is typically the Pollokshaws Road stop. From there, you will have a short walk to the park entrance.

  • Walking from the Bus Stop

    After getting off the bus at the Pollokshaws Road stop, head south along Pollokshaws Road for about 5-10 minutes. The entrance to Pollok Country Park will be on your left at 2060 Pollokshaws Rd.
