Car
If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Caernarfon. From Caernarfon, take the A487 towards Beddgelert. After approximately 6 miles, take the exit toward the A499. Continue on the A499 for about 3 miles, then turn left onto the B4413. Follow the B4413 for about 2 miles until you reach Llanaelhaearn. Gyrn Ddu is located just outside Llanaelhaearn at the postcode LL54 5BH. There is limited parking available near the landmark.

Public Transport (Bus)
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Caernarfon to Llanaelhaearn. Look for the bus services operated by 'Arriva' which connect Caernarfon with the surrounding areas. The bus number you need is the 5 or 85, which will take you to Llanaelhaearn. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Llanaelhaearn stop, Gyrn Ddu is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop; head north on the main road, and you will find the landmark on your left.

If you are already in Llanaelhaearn or prefer walking, Gyrn Ddu is easily accessible. Start from the center of Llanaelhaearn and head north on the main road (A499). Continue walking for about 0.5 miles, and you will see Gyrn Ddu on your left. This route is quite scenic, with views of the surrounding landscape.
