If you are driving, head towards Harlech on the A496. From the center of Harlech, follow the signs for Cae Gethin Farm. The Llanfair Slate Caverns are located at Cae Gethin Farm, Harlech LL46 2SA. There is a parking area available on-site for visitors. Please note that parking may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation
To reach Llanfair Slate Caverns using public transportation, take a train to Harlech Station. From Harlech Station, you can either walk to the caverns, which is approximately a 20-minute walk (1 mile), or take a local taxi for around £5. If you choose to walk, exit the station and turn left onto the A496, then follow the road signs to Cae Gethin Farm.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Harlech, head south on Castle Street, then turn left onto the A496. Continue along the A496 until you see the signs for Cae Gethin Farm. The Llanfair Slate Caverns will be on your right. The total walking distance is about 1 mile, which should take approximately 20-25 minutes.
