Travel Guide to Rocpool

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Inverness city center. Use the A82 road and follow signs for the city center. Once in the center, take the first exit at the roundabout onto Castle Street (A82). Continue straight until you reach a second roundabout, take the second exit onto Ness Walk. Rocpool is located at 1 Ness Walk, on your right. There is on-street parking available nearby, but be aware of parking restrictions to avoid fines.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, catch a bus heading towards Inverness city center. The main bus station is located at Margaret Street. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Rocpool. Head southwest on Margaret Street towards the River Ness, then follow the river along the path. Cross the bridge at Ness Bridge, and continue walking along Ness Walk. Rocpool is located at 1 Ness Walk. If you prefer a taxi, you can find taxi ranks near the bus station, and a ride to Rocpool will cost around £5.

• Walking

  If you are already in the city center and prefer walking, start at the Inverness Castle. Head down Castle Street, and take the first left onto Ness Walk. Continue walking along Ness Walk, and you will find Rocpool at 1 Ness Walk. The walk takes approximately 15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the River Ness.

• Bicycle

  For cyclists, there are bike rental services available in the city center. Once you have a bike, ride towards Ness Walk. Follow the path along the River Ness, enjoying the scenic views. Rocpool is located at 1 Ness Walk, easily accessible by bike. Make sure to park your bicycle at the designated bike racks near the restaurant.
