Start at the Inverness City Centre, near the Inverness Castle. Head south on Castle Street towards the River Ness. Cross the bridge over the river to reach the southern bank. Once you cross, turn left and follow the riverbank path. Continue along the river until you reach the entrance to the Great Glen Way at the end of the river path, just past the Eden Court Theatre. You should see signs for the Great Glen Way as you approach.

From the Inverness Bus Station, take the number 11 bus towards Fort Augustus. Inform the driver you would like to get off at the Great Glen Way entrance.
