Car
From Kirkcudbright, head southwest on the A755 towards Gatehouse of Fleet. Continue for approximately 7 miles until you reach the junction for the B727. Turn left onto the B727 and follow the signs for Mossyard Beach. After about 1.5 miles, you will see signs directing you to Mossyard Beach. There is a small parking area available near the beach, but be aware that it may get busy during peak times.

Take the bus from Kirkcudbright to Gatehouse of Fleet. Check local schedules for the most current times as they may vary. Once you arrive in Gatehouse of Fleet, you can either walk (approximately 1.5 miles) or take a taxi to Mossyard Beach. If you choose to walk, head southwest on the A75 towards the B727, then turn left on the B727 to reach the beach. A taxi may cost around £10-£15, depending on the time of day.
