Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Liverpool city center, make your way to the main shopping street, Church Street. From here, head towards Lord Street, which is approximately a 5-minute walk. When you reach the end of Lord Street, turn left onto St John's Lane, and continue straight until you reach the junction with A5036. Turn right onto A5036 and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see the Blitz Memorial on your left side, near the junction with James Street.

    From Liverpool ONE Bus Station, take the bus number 10 or 12 heading towards the Albert Dock. The journey will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'James Street'. After getting off, walk along James Street towards A5036, then turn right. The Blitz Memorial will be a short walk down A5036 on your left.

    If you are near the Liverpool Lime Street Station, take a Merseyrail train to James Street Station. The train ride will take about 5 minutes.
