From Liverpool, head to Liverpool Lime Street Station. Take a train towards Chester, which typically departs every 30 minutes. The journey will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Chester Station, exit the station and turn right onto the main road. Follow the road until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Foregate Street. Continue walking straight until you see the City Walls entrance on your left, where you’ll find the King Charles Tower.

Catch the X8 or X2 bus from Liverpool city centre, which goes directly to Chester. Buses run frequently from the main bus station. The ride should take about an hour. Once you arrive at the Chester Bus Interchange, exit the bus station and walk towards St. John Street. From there, take a left onto Northgate Street, and walk straight until you reach the City Walls. The King Charles Tower will be visible along the walls.
