Getting There

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From Liverpool city centre, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the 89 or 86 bus towards Halewood. The buses depart regularly from stops around the city centre, including Queen Square. Once on the bus, stay on for approximately 30 minutes. You will need to get off at the 'Halewood Church' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk. Head down Church Road, and you will see St Nicholas' Church on your left.

    If you are in the city centre and want to enjoy a pleasant walk, head south towards the River Mersey. Walk towards the Albert Dock and follow the river path until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along the path towards the south. After about a mile, you can turn right onto Halewood Road. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles, and you will arrive at Church Road. Turn left onto Church Road, and you'll find St Nicholas' Church shortly after.
