Getting There

    If you're starting from Liverpool Lime Street Station, exit the station onto Lime Street. Head west towards St George's Hall and continue straight onto William Brown Street. Turn left onto the A5038 (St John's Lane) and follow it until you reach the junction with the A5039 (Queen's Square). Cross over the road to St John's Shopping Centre and continue to the bus station. From here, take the bus number 6 or 7 towards the waterfront. Get off at the Mann Island stop. The Tate Liverpool is just a short walk from the bus stop.

    From Liverpool ONE Bus Station, take bus number 10 or 26 towards the waterfront. The journey will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Mann Island stop. Once you alight, walk towards the waterfront, and you'll find Tate Liverpool directly in front of you, situated on Mann Island.

  • Ferry

    If you're near the Albert Dock, you can take the Mersey Ferry from the Pier Head Terminal. Board the ferry and enjoy a scenic ride across the Mersey River. Disembark at the Woodside terminal and walk along the riverfront towards the Tate Liverpool. The gallery is about a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal, along the waterfront promenade.
