Getting There

  • Car

    To reach Pollok Country Park by car from any location in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, head east on the A82 road towards Glasgow. Continue on the A82 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with the M8 motorway. Take the M8 towards Glasgow and exit at Junction 25 for the A730 (Pollokshaws Road). Follow the A730 for about 1 mile, and then turn left onto Pollokshaws Road. Pollok Country Park will be on your right at 2060 Pollokshaws Rd, Bellahouston, Glasgow G43 1AT. There is free parking available at the park.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Pollok Country Park using public transportation, take a train from any station near Loch Lomond to Glasgow Central Station. From Glasgow Central, transfer to the Glasgow Subway (the 'Clockwork Orange') and take the train towards the south side of the city. Get off at the 'Shields Road' station. From Shields Road, you can either walk approximately 0.5 miles (about 10 minutes) or catch a bus (number 34 or 38) which will take you directly to Pollok Country Park.
