Walking Tour around Spitalfields
My daughter, sister and I greatly enjoyed the walk around the streets around Spitalfields from Georgian terraces to modern towers. The three of us have lived in "E" postcodes for many years and although we have a broad feel for the area and my daughter now lives here, the Gentle Author has an in depth knowledge of the area and over time had researched people who lived and worked in the area in the past including Beer Bottlers and bare foot children receiving charity from the Quaker mission. This dive into social (as well as architectural) history brought the stories vividly to life. Looking forward to other tours in the future! Thank you
