From Covent Garden, start at the Covent Garden Market. Exit the market and head towards the main square. Walk straight down James Street until you reach the junction with Long Acre. Turn left onto Long Acre and continue walking until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Bow Street. Cross the road and continue straight onto Wellington Street. Follow this until you reach the Strand. Cross the Strand, and you will see the entrance to Trafalgar Square. The National Gallery is located directly on the north side of Trafalgar Square.
