Getting There

  • Train

    Start at Manchester Piccadilly Station. Purchase a ticket to Liverpool Lime Street Station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Liverpool Lime Street Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, which is Lime Street. Turn right and walk straight until you reach the junction with St. John's Lane. Continue straight on St. John's Lane, and soon you will see Mount Pleasant on your left.

  • Bus

    From Manchester City Centre, head to the bus stop located outside the Royal Exchange Theatre on St. Ann's Square. Take the Arriva bus service number X2 towards Liverpool. The bus journey will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the stop for Liverpool Lime Street Station. From there, walk towards Lime Street, turn right, and proceed to St. John's Lane. Mount Pleasant will be on your left.

  • Coach

    If you prefer to travel by coach, head to the National Express coach station at Manchester Coach Station. Book a ticket to Liverpool. Coaches run regularly, and the journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Liverpool Coach Station, exit and walk towards the main road. Turn right onto Lime Street, and then take a left onto St. John's Lane. Continue walking, and Mount Pleasant will be on your left.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the Liverpool area, you can walk to Mount Pleasant. Find your way to Lime Street, and from there, turn onto St. John's Lane. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see Mount Pleasant on your left. This is a lovely walk if the weather is nice!
