Car
From Edinburgh, take the A7 south towards Gorebridge. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit toward Gorebridge. Continue straight onto the A701 for about 1 mile, then turn left onto the B6372. Follow this road for about 2 miles, and then take a right onto Temple Road. Continue for about 0.5 miles, and you will see Old Temple Kirk on your left. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

From Edinburgh Waverley Station, take a train to Gorebridge Station. The train journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Gorebridge, exit the station and catch the number 29 bus towards Temple. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Temple stop, and from there, it is a short walk of about 10 minutes to Old Temple Kirk. Walk along Temple Road and you will reach your destination.

If you are already in the village of Temple, you can easily walk to Old Temple Kirk. Start at the center of the village and head east on Temple Road. It's about a 15-minute walk, approximately 0.7 miles. Follow the road, and you will see Old Temple Kirk on your right. The scenic walk is pleasant and offers views of the surrounding countryside.
