Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto the M6 motorway. Depending on where you are coming from in North West England, you may need to take the A556 if you are approaching from the south, or the A49 or A54 if coming from the north. Once you are on the M6, take the exit for the A556 towards Northwich. Follow the A556 until you reach Northwich, then take the A533 towards Marston. Continue straight onto Ollershaw Lane, where you will find Lion Salt Works at the address: Ollershaw Ln, Marston, Northwich CW9 6ES. There is free parking available on-site.

• Train and Bus

  For those using public transportation, take a train to Northwich Station, which is well connected to major cities in the North West. Once you arrive at Northwich Station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop located nearby. Board the Arriva Bus service (Route 1 or 2) heading towards Marston. The bus will take you close to Lion Salt Works, and you should disembark at the nearest stop, which is Ollershaw Lane. From there, it’s just a short walk to Lion Salt Works at Ollershaw Ln, Marston, Northwich CW9 6ES. Be sure to check the bus schedule prior to your trip, as service frequency may vary.
