Car
From the town of Alnwick, take the A1 road south towards Morpeth. After about 15 miles, take the exit onto the A697 signposted for Coldstream. Continue on the A697 for approximately 8 miles until you reach the B6341. Turn left onto the B6341 and follow it for around 3 miles until you reach the village of Ingram. Linhope Spout Waterfall is located a short distance from Ingram. Park at the designated parking area (please note that there may be a small fee for parking) and follow the footpath signs towards the waterfall.

Start by taking a bus from Alnwick to Rothbury. Check the local bus timetable for the latest schedules. Upon reaching Rothbury, you will need to transfer to a local service that goes towards Ingram. Once you arrive in Ingram, you can either walk (approximately 1.5 miles) or arrange for a local taxi to take you to the parking area for Linhope Spout Waterfall. Ensure you check the bus times for your return journey, as services may be limited.

If you are already in Ingram, head towards the signposted walking path to Linhope Spout Waterfall. The walk is approximately 1 mile and will take around 20-30 minutes. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy scenic views of the surrounding countryside as you make your way to the waterfall.
