From Nottingham city centre, make your way to Nottingham train station. You can walk there by heading south on Station Street, then turning left onto Canal Street. Follow this road until you reach the train station. Once at the station, take a train towards Beeston. The train journey is short, usually around 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Beeston station, exit the station and turn left onto Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with High Road. Turn right onto High Road and follow it until you reach the River Trent. Cross over the footbridge leading to Riverside Road. Beeston Lock will be on your left after a short walk along Riverside Road.
