Getting There

  • Walking

    Begin your journey from the city center of Oxford, specifically at the Carfax Tower. Head south on Cornmarket Street and continue onto St. Aldate's Street. Follow St. Aldate's until you reach the junction with the A420. At this point, turn left onto the A420 (also known as the Oxford Road). After approximately 1 mile, you will reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Iffley Road (A4144) and continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the Iffley village. As you enter the village, follow the signs for Iffley Lock. The lock is located off Church Way, where you will find the picturesque Iffley Lock.

  • Bus

    From Oxford city center, make your way to the nearest bus stop on St. Aldate's Street. Take the number 3 or 5 bus towards Iffley. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Alight at the Iffley Turn bus stop. From there, walk down Iffley Road and turn onto Church Way. Follow Church Way for a short distance until you reach Iffley Lock. The scenic views along the way will enhance your experience.
