Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Oxford, take the A4144 road heading north. Continue on this road until you reach the roundabout at the junction with the A40. Take the second exit onto the A40 and keep following it for approximately 2 miles. Take the exit toward the A34 signposted for the North and then merge onto the A34. After about 1.5 miles, take the exit toward the A44. Merge onto the A44 and continue for about 0.5 miles. Take a right onto Elsfield Way, and you will find Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees in the area.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park via public transport, start from Oxford city center. Head to the Gloucester Green bus station and take the bus number 14 or 14A towards North Oxford. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Cutteslowe Park stop. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for the most current timetable. A single bus fare will cost around £2.50.

• Walking or Cycling

  If you are nearby and prefer to walk or cycle, Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park is accessible via a network of paths from surrounding neighborhoods. From Summertown, you can reach the park by following the cycle paths along the River Cherwell, which will lead you directly to the park. The distance from Summertown is about 1.5 miles, taking roughly 30 minutes by foot or 10 minutes by bike.
