From Edinburgh: Glenfinnan, Highlands and Hairy Coos
Wonderful day trip from Edinburgh!
We loved this day long trip through Scotland from Edinburgh. Hugh was our tour guide and provided the best mix of history, pop culture, lore, and geography information…along with some comedy! I recommend this option for anyone considering renting by a car and visiting these sites, we got places on time and had someone to drive us and give us info along the way. Great trip!

Loch Ness, Glencoe and The Highlands Private Tour
A Highland Tour That Feels More Like an Enlightening Pub Chat With a Mate, Plus Epic Scenery. Tales, Trails, and Tartan, a Highl
If you're looking for a tour that feels less like a history lecture and more like an adventure with a mate, who happens to know every epic tale ever spun about the Scottish Highlands, Tartan Viking Tours is your answer. From the moment we hopped aboard, Cammy took us on a journey that had us laughing as much as he was educating us on the exquisite corners of the Highlands. The stories flowed seamlessly, blending historical facts with the kind of banter that made it feel like we were on a road trip with a mate, who just so happens to moonlight as a scholar of all things Scotland. I must say the memories of that day aren’t just experiences collected like souvenirs. They grew with us, shaped us, and continue to linger far beyond the return home. This journey has left its mark, not just in the photographs taken, but in the way we see the world. There’s something liberating about standing in places where history whispers your name. Walking through the Highlands and the echoes of tradition felt like a call home, where its spirit spoke outloud. These travels weren’t just about seeing places. They were about understanding where pieces of my heritage had long existed. The scenery? Absolutely stunning. The history? Riveting. But the real highlight? Was Cammy, who made us feel like family.
