From Stirling city centre, walk to the Stirling Bus Station located on Goosecroft Road. Catch the Stagecoach bus number 44 towards Edinburgh. This bus will take you directly to South Queensferry. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in South Queensferry, disembark at the bus stop nearest to the Forth Bridge, which is well-signposted. From there, you can easily walk to the bridge, which is just a short 10-minute stroll away.

Head to Stirling Train Station, located on Goosecroft Road. Take a train to Edinburgh Waverley Station (trains are frequent, so check the schedule). Once at Edinburgh Waverley, transfer to a local train heading towards South Queensferry, which is part of the Fife Circle Line. The train ride to South Queensferry takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Forth Bridge, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station.

If you prefer a more scenic route, you can walk from Stirling to South Queensferry, which is approximately 10 miles and will take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Start from the city centre and head towards the River Forth. Follow the riverbank paths towards the west, passing through beautiful countryside and small villages until you reach South Queensferry.
