The OVO Hydro stands on the site of Glasgow’s former Queen’s Dock, a symbol of the city’s regeneration and cultural ambition. Its flexible seating includes fixed, retractable, and removable options, enabling tailored layouts for concerts, award shows, and product launches. The venue hosts over 140 events annually, drawing more than one million visitors and consistently ranking among the top 10 busiest arenas worldwide.

The OVO Hydro provides a range of visitor amenities, including food and drink options, accessible restrooms, and cloakrooms. While most concourse areas are accessible by lifts, some seating areas on upper levels require stair use, which may affect those with mobility challenges. The venue operates a majority-rules policy for standing during concerts and offers infra-red loop systems for hearing assistance in selected blocks.
