Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center of Stirling, start at the Stirling Castle. Head south on the Castle Wynd, then turn left onto the A811 (Stirling Bridge). Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A872. Turn right onto the A872 and follow it until you arrive at the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the B8051 (Borrowmeadow Road). Continue on this road for about 1.5 miles. The Stirling Highland Games will be held at the Sports Village, which is located on Borrowmeadow Road, FK7 7UJ.

  • Bus

    From the Stirling Bus Station, take the number 59 bus towards Plean. The bus will take you toward Borrowmeadow Road. Get off at the Borrowmeadow Road stop. From there, it is a short walk to the Sports Village where the Stirling Highland Games are held. Simply follow the road signs to the venue, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

  • Cycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from the city center. Begin at the Stirling Castle and head down the Castle Wynd, then follow the same route as for walking. Turn onto the A811 (Stirling Bridge) and then the A872. Continue as before until you reach the B8051 (Borrowmeadow Road). The Sports Village is easily accessible by bike and has bike racks available for parking.
