Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Lybster, which is the nearest town to Camster Cairns. Head west on the B874 road. After about 5 miles, you will reach a junction; turn right onto the A9 road towards Thurso. Continue on the A9 for approximately 3.5 miles, then look for a sign for the Camster Cairns on your left. Follow the signs and turn left onto the unnamed road. Camster Cairns will be located shortly after on your right. Make sure to park in the designated area.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Wick to Lybster. The bus service runs several times a day. Once you arrive in Lybster, you can either walk or take a taxi to Camster Cairns. Walking will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes; go west on the B874 road, then follow the A9 as described above. Alternatively, a taxi from Lybster to Camster Cairns will be the quickest option, but be prepared to pay around £15-£20 for this short trip.

If you're already in Lybster and prefer to walk to Camster Cairns, head west on the B874 road. After around 2.5 miles, you will reach the A9 road. Turn left and continue for about 1.5 miles until you see the sign for Camster Cairns. This route will take you through scenic countryside, but please be aware of the traffic on the A9.
