Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head to Oxford, specifically to New College Lane, Oxford OX1. From the central Cotswolds, take the A40 to Oxford. Follow signs for the city center, and as you approach, take the A4144 (also known as the St. Aldate's road) and follow it until you reach New College Lane. There may be parking available nearby, but be aware that parking in central Oxford can be limited and may incur a fee.

  To reach Edmond Halley House using public transportation, first take a train from your location in the Cotswolds to Oxford. Trains run frequently from towns such as Moreton-in-Marsh or Kingham. Once you arrive at Oxford Station, exit the station and catch bus number 2 or 3 toward the city center. Get off at the 'Magdalen Street' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to New College Lane. Follow the signs towards New College, and you will find Edmond Halley House located on New College Lane.

  If you arrive by bus to the city center, the nearest bus stop to Edmond Halley House is 'Magdalen Street'. From the bus stop, head east on Magdalen Street. Turn right onto the High Street, and continue until you reach the intersection with New College Lane. Turn left onto New College Lane, and Edmond Halley House will be on your right. This walk will take about 10-15 minutes.

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from the Oxford train station or the city center directly to New College Lane. Taxis are readily available, and the journey should take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. The average fare from the station to the house is around £10-£15.
