Tretower Castle is located just a short drive from Crickhowell. Head southeast on the A40, then take the B4558 towards Tretower. The castle is approximately 2 miles from Crickhowell. There is a small parking area near the castle where you can leave your vehicle (Parking may incur a small fee).

For those using public transportation, take a train to Abergavenny station, which is the closest train station to Crickhowell. From Abergavenny, you can catch a bus (Bus number 42 or 43) towards Crickhowell. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Crickhowell, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a taxi to Tretower Castle, which is about 2 miles away. Be aware that taxi fares may vary, so it's advisable to confirm the cost with the driver before starting your journey.
