From Wigtown, head north on the A714 towards Creetown. After approximately 8 miles, turn left onto the B736 towards Creetown. Continue on this road until you reach the village of Creetown. Upon entering Creetown, take the first right onto Chain Road. The Gem Rock Museum will be on your left. There is free parking available on-site.

If you are using public transportation, you can catch the bus service (number 501) from Wigtown to Creetown. The bus departs from the main bus stop in Wigtown. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the Creetown stop, and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Gem Rock Museum. Head southeast on Main Street, then turn left onto Chain Road. The museum will be on your left. Please check the local bus schedule for the latest times, as service frequency may vary.
