Walking
If you are starting from Windsor Castle, exit the castle grounds and head towards the main road, the A332. Turn left onto the A332 and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the first exit onto the B3022, following signs for Windsor Town Centre. Continue along the B3022 until you reach the junction with the A308. Turn right onto the A308 and walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the bus station. From there, catch the train to London Waterloo. Once at Waterloo, take the Jubilee Line to Green Park. Transfer to the Piccadilly Line and travel towards Heathrow Terminal 5. Alight at Knightsbridge station. Exit the station and walk towards Brompton Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Groom Place, where you will find the Horse & Groom pub at 7 Groom Pl.

From Windsor, head to the Windsor Theatre Royal bus stop. Take bus number 702 towards London. This bus will take you directly to Victoria Coach Station in London. From Victoria, you can either walk or take the tube. If walking, exit the station and head towards Buckingham Palace Road, then continue straight until you reach Grosvenor Gardens. Walk through the gardens, then turn left onto Buckingham Palace Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Groom Place, where you will find the Horse & Groom pub at 7 Groom Pl.

Make your way to Windsor & Eton Central train station. Take a South Western Railway train to London Waterloo. Once you arrive at Waterloo, follow the signs to the Underground and take the Jubilee Line towards Stanmore. Change at Green Park for the Piccadilly Line towards Cockfosters. Get off at Knightsbridge station. Exit the station and walk towards Brompton Road, then continue straight until you reach Groom Place, where the Horse & Groom pub is located at 7 Groom Pl.
