If you are starting from Windsor Castle, exit the castle grounds and head northeast on Castle Hill. Continue straight to the end of the street, where it merges into the High Street. Walk along the High Street until you reach the junction with Victoria Street. Turn left onto Victoria Street, which will lead you to a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto St. Leonards Road. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles (800 meters) until you reach the junction with Maidenhead Road. Turn right onto Maidenhead Road, and the Royal Windsor Racecourse will be on your left after approximately a 10-minute walk.

From Windsor's central bus station, located near the Theatre Royal, take the Green Line 702 bus towards Maidenhead. The bus will stop at the 'Royal Windsor Racecourse' bus stop. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you get off, the racecourse entrance will be just a short walk from the bus stop.
