Car
If you're driving from Punta del Este, take Route 10 heading northwest towards Route 9. Merge onto Route 9 and continue until you reach the junction with Route 1. Take Route 1 towards Montevideo. Follow the signs for Montevideo, and as you approach the city, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the waterfront area. Montevideo Bay will be visible as you get closer to the city center.
Bus
To reach Montevideo Bay by bus from any location along the East Coast, you can take a bus from cities like Punta del Este or La Barra. Look for buses heading to Montevideo, operated by companies like COT or COPSA. The journey will take about 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Tres Cruces Bus Terminal in Montevideo, you can take a local bus or taxi to reach the bay area. Buses such as Line 105 or 119 can take you towards the waterfront.
