If you are driving from the center of Jose Ignacio, head east on Route 10. Continue for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 204. Take a left onto Route 204 and follow the signs towards Faro de José Ignacio. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the beach area; Playa Brava will be on your right. There is ample parking available near the beach.

To reach Playa Brava using public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Jose Ignacio. Look for buses heading towards Punta del Este or La Barra. You will want to get off at the Faro de José Ignacio stop, which is approximately a 15-20 minute ride. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to Playa Brava; simply head east towards the coast, and you’ll see the beach ahead.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jose Ignacio. Head east on Route 10 as you would by car. It’s about a 3-kilometer ride to the intersection with Route 204.
