Car
From the center of José Ignacio, head southeast on Route 10 (Ruta 10) for approximately 5 km. You will pass by beautiful beaches and scenic views. Once you reach the intersection with C. Los Teros, turn right. Continue for about 1 km until you see the José Ignacio Lighthouse on your left. There is parking available near the lighthouse.
Public Transportation
Take the local bus from the José Ignacio bus station towards Punta del Este. Make sure to check the schedule as buses may not run frequently. After about 20-30 minutes, get off at the stop closest to the José Ignacio Lighthouse. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 km along C. Los Teros to reach the lighthouse. Be prepared for a short walk on a rural road.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in José Ignacio. Start your journey by heading southeast on Route 10 (Ruta 10) for about 5 km. After that, turn right onto C. Los Teros. The ride is scenic but be mindful of traffic. The lighthouse will be approximately 1 km down the road on your left.
