Bus
If you are starting from the Ciudad Vieja area, walk to the nearest bus stop at '18 de Julio y Ejido'. Take bus number 184 heading towards 'Punta Carretas'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop 'Rbla. Pdte. Wilson'. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk along the Rambla to the Teatro de Verano, located on the waterfront.
Walking
If you are in the Parque Rodó area, head towards the Rambla. Walk along the Rambla Pdte. Wilson heading east. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Teatro de Verano, which will be on your left side, right next to the water.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in the city. Simply tell the driver 'Teatro de Verano' or provide the address 'Rbla. Pdte. Wilson s/n'. The taxi ride from most central locations will take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations around the city. Start from Parque Rodó, head towards the Rambla, and cycle along Rbla. Pdte. Wilson for about 15 minutes until you reach the Teatro de Verano, which will be on your left side by the waterfront.
