Getting There

  • Bus

    From any point in Carrasco, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for the buses labeled 'Line 57' or 'Line 168', which head towards Montevideo city center. The bus fare is approximately 40 UYU (Uruguayan Pesos). After boarding, stay on the bus for about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. You will want to get off at the stop 'Prado', which is close to the park's entrance.

  • Walking

    If you are already near the Prado area, you can reach the park by walking. From the bus stop 'Prado', walk north for about 5 minutes along Avenida Dr. Luis A. de Herrera. You will see the entrance to Prado Park on your left. The park is well-marked and easy to find.

  • Bike Rental

    For a more active approach, consider renting a bike from one of the local rental shops in Carrasco. Once you have your bike, follow Avenida Arocena towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach Avenida Dr. Luis A. de Herrera. Turn left and head towards the park entrance. The bike ride should take about 15-20 minutes.
