    From the city center, head to the Tres Cruces terminal. Take Bus No. 180 towards Piriápolis. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the 'Punta Carretas' stop. From there, walk west along the Rambla until you reach the Punta Carretas Lighthouse, which should be visible along the waterfront.
