Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Piedras Blancas, take Route 8 heading towards Montevideo. Continue on Route 8 for approximately 15 kilometers. As you approach Montevideo, merge onto Route 1. Follow the signs to the city center. Once in Montevideo, look for signs directing you to 'Centro' and then navigate to Calle Yí. The Museo del Azulejo is located at Yí 1444, 11100 Montevideo. There is usually street parking available, but be mindful of any parking regulations.

  • Public Transportation

    From central Piedras Blancas, head to the nearest bus stop and catch Bus 192 towards Montevideo. This bus will take you directly to the Montevideo city center. Once you arrive at the terminal, transfer to Bus 21 or Bus 116, which will take you close to Yí street. Disembark at the stop nearest to Yí 1444. The Museo del Azulejo is a short walk from there. The total bus fare is approximately 50 Uruguayan pesos.
