Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of Piriápolis, head west on Avenida Piria towards Calle 30. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ruta 37. Turn left onto Ruta 37 and follow the road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Parque Cerro del Toro as you approach. Turn right onto the road marked for the park, and follow it until you reach the entrance. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Parque Cerro del Toro by public transport, start at the main bus terminal in Piriápolis. Look for buses heading towards Maldonado or Punta del Este. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Parque Cerro del Toro, which is usually near Ruta 37. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the park entrance. Ensure to check the bus schedules as they may vary on weekends.

• Walking

  If you prefer walking and are staying in central Piriápolis, you can take a scenic route through the town. Head west on Avenida Piria, and when you reach the beach, continue along the coastline until you see the road leading to Ruta 37. This route is approximately 6 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours on foot.
