Car
From the center of Piriápolis, head southeast on Avenida Piria. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Ruta 37. Turn right onto Ruta 37 and follow the road for approximately 7 kilometers. You will see signs for Punta Negra Beach. Turn left onto the road leading to Punta Negra Beach. Continue straight until you reach the beach parking area. Note that parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
From the main bus terminal in Piriápolis, take a local bus heading towards Punta Negra. The bus should have 'Punta Negra' displayed on the front. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and tickets can be purchased directly from the driver (cost is usually around 50 Uruguayan Pesos). The bus will drop you off near the beach entrance. After disembarking, it's just a short walk to the beach.
