Turn right onto an unpaved road that leads directly to the beach area. There is usually parking available near the beach, but it can fill up quickly during peak hours, so arrive early.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Playa Portezuelo using public transportation, take a local bus from the Punta Ballena bus terminal. Look for buses heading towards La Barra or José Ignacio, as they often pass by Playa Portezuelo. Ensure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Playa Portezuelo. The fare is typically around 50-80 Uruguayan Pesos. Once you arrive, a short walk of about 300 meters will take you to the beach.
