Continue on Route 9 for approximately 15 km until you reach the exit for Route 15. Follow Route 15 for about 10 km, and you will see signs directing you to Fuerte San Miguel. The fortress is located just off the main road, and there is parking available on-site. Be sure to check your fuel levels, as gas stations may be sparse in this region.
Public Transportation
To reach Fuerte San Miguel via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Rocha to the town of La Paloma. Several bus companies operate this route, and the journey takes about 45 minutes.
