If you are driving from Rocha to Palacio Salvo in Montevideo, take Route 9 (Ruta 9) heading west from Rocha. Continue on Route 9 for about 170 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Montevideo. As you approach Montevideo, follow the signs for Avenida 18 de Julio towards the city center. Once on Avenida 18 de Julio, turn left onto Plaza Independencia. Palacio Salvo will be located at Pl. Independencia 848, on your right. Parking may be limited in the area, so be prepared to look for nearby parking lots or street parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Palacio Salvo using public transportation, first take a bus from Rocha to Montevideo. The bus company COLECTIVOS operates several daily services. Purchase a ticket at the bus terminal in Rocha, with prices generally around $200-300 UYU. The bus ride takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Tres Cruces bus terminal in Montevideo, exit the terminal and look for the nearby stops for local buses or taxis. To get to Palacio Salvo, you can take Bus 180 or 300 from the terminal. The fare is about $40 UYU. Get off at the stop at Plaza Independencia, and walk a short distance to Pl. Independencia 848 to find Palacio Salvo.
