Car
To reach Palace Cave by car, start from any location in the South Coast region. If you're coming from Punta del Este, take Route 9 heading north. After approximately 90 km, merge onto Route 14 towards Trinidad. Continue for about 50 km until you reach the junction with Trazado Antiguo. Turn left onto Trazado Antiguo and drive for about 10 km. The cave entrance will be on your right at km 235. Make sure to check your fuel level as there are limited fuel stations along the way.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Montevideo to Trinidad. Buses leave from Terminal Tres Cruces in Montevideo, and the journey takes approximately 4 hours.
