Getting There

Car
From Valizas, head east on Route 10 towards Cabo Polonio. After approximately 12 km, you will arrive at the entrance of Cabo Polonio National Park. There is a toll fee of around UYU 200 for cars. Continue driving until you reach the parking area. From there, you will need to take a 7 km drive along a sand road that leads to Cabo Polonio. You may need a 4x4 vehicle, as regular cars may struggle on the sandy road.

Public Transportation
To reach Isla Rasa from Valizas using public transportation, take a local bus heading towards Cabo Polonio. The bus departs from the main bus terminal in Valizas. The fare is approximately UYU 100. Once you arrive at the Cabo Polonio bus stop, you will still need to arrange for a 4x4 vehicle to take you to the coast near Isla Rasa, as it is not accessible by foot. The 4x4 ride will cost around UYU 150.
