Getting There

• Car

  From Valizas, head southeast on Calle de la Playa toward Ruta 10. Turn left onto Ruta 10 and continue for approximately 11 kilometers. You will pass through scenic landscapes. Look for the sign for Monte de Ombúes at kilometer 267, which will direct you to the entrance. Parking is available near the site, but it's advisable to arrive early during peak tourist season to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation

  From Valizas, you can take a local bus to Barra de Valizas. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as it might not run frequently. Once you arrive in Barra de Valizas, walk east along Ruta 10 for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach kilometer 267. The walk features a pleasant view of the surrounding nature. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as there are limited facilities along the route.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Valizas and head toward Ruta 10. Follow the same route as if you were driving. The distance is about 11 kilometers, and the ride offers beautiful views of the countryside. Ensure your bike is in good condition and carry a repair kit, as you may be in remote areas with limited services.
