Car
If you're driving within Arches National Park, start at the visitor center located at 2282 Arches Entrance Rd, Moab, UT 84532. From the visitor center, head north on Arches Entrance Rd (also known as the main park road) and continue for approximately 10 miles. Follow the signs for Petrified Dunes Viewpoint. The viewpoint will be on your right, with a designated parking area where you can stop and enjoy the scenic vista.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited within Arches National Park. However, if you're in Moab, you can use local shuttles or tour services that offer trips to the park. Make sure to check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive at the park entrance via shuttle, you will still need to drive or take a park shuttle (if available) to reach Petrified Dunes Viewpoint. If driving, follow the directions provided for cars. If you’re on a tour, confirm with your guide that this viewpoint is part of the itinerary.
