Getting There

• Car

  From anywhere in Bear River Valley, take US-89 South towards Garden City. Continue on US-89 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with Bear Lake Blvd. Turn left onto Bear Lake Blvd (940 N Bear Lake Blvd). Follow Bear Lake Blvd for about 1 mile, and you will arrive at Bear Lake State Park, located on your left. Look for the park entrance signs.

• Public Transportation

  Check local bus services available in Bear River Valley. If a local bus service runs to Garden City, you can take that bus. Once in Garden City, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Bear Lake State Park at 940 N Bear Lake Blvd. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to ensure timely arrival, as services may be limited.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can ride along US-89. Ensure you are equipped with helmets and reflective gear for safety. The ride from the center of Bear River Valley to Bear Lake State Park is approximately 20 miles. Once you reach Garden City, follow Bear Lake Blvd to the park entrance. Take note of the road conditions and traffic as you cycle.

• Walking

  Walking to Bear Lake State Park from any point in Bear River Valley may not be feasible due to the distance. If you are near Garden City, you can walk down Bear Lake Blvd from the town center, which is approximately 1 mile to the park entrance. Ensure to walk during the day and stay on sidewalks where available.
