From the center of Blanding at the intersection of Main Street and 200 South, head south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 191. Cross the highway carefully, and continue south on the trailhead road, which will take you towards the Butler Wash area. You will need to follow the signs that indicate Butler Wash Ruins, which is approximately a 1.5-mile walk from the highway junction. The route is fairly straightforward and well-marked.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from the center of Blanding at the intersection of Main Street and 200 South. Cycle south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach Highway 191. Carefully cross the highway and continue on the gravel road towards Butler Wash. The total biking distance is approximately 2 miles, and the path is mostly flat but watch for any local wildlife.
Public Transport + Walking
If you are using public transport, take the local shuttle from Blanding to the nearest stop on Highway 191. Once you disembark, walk south on the highway for about 0.5 miles. Look for the trailhead road leading to Butler Wash Ruins. The total distance from the shuttle stop to the ruins is approximately 2 miles.
